At 40 most artists have fallen off and sought more comfortable or secure pastures; or they are fortunate enough to be afforded the opportunity to take a deep breath, survey their accomplishments, and prepare for the next phase of their career.
Christopher Eissing, or The Reverend as he is known to many, has returned to his roots, writing, recording and managing his own creative presence. This did not come easily.
The long illnesses and deaths of his grandfather and father defined his 30′s; but these tragic events were only the tip of an iceberg that saw him endure over 20 funerals of friends and loved ones, the collapse of his magazine, and a hard-fought battle with former management to control his own destiny.
It has been a long road.
With “Bruised Eyes and Busted Knuckles” slated for release in Fall 2013, Christopher Eissing is ready to put on some more miles.
